Action For The Homeless

Action For The Homeless (AFTH) was formed in November 2013 to combat the ever growing homeless crisis that was clearly evident across the city of Dublin.

We currently operate a seven day outreach service across the city, coinciding with mobile outreach unit. Our outreach support service operates nightly providing access to beds, sleeping bags, food or case management refferal. Action For The Homeless operate a 16 hour daily monile outreach service, responding to rough sleeper reports within 15 minutes of a call. This service is also operating 7 days per week.

Our day service operates case management alongside client refferal and also advocates on behalf of clients.

Governance

AFTH is committed to maintaining the highest standards of Corporate Governance. We believe that setting and maintaining these high standards is a key element in demonstrating accountability to all stakeholders, funders and supporters. It also ensures that we continue to provide the highest quality service to those in our care.

Our Board comprises of five directors with backgrounds in business, finance, law, social inclusion and health. All directors are voluntary and receive no remuneration (No salary, expenses or allowances, nor ever has, for their continued and valuable contribution to AFTH and its challenge to reduce homelessness.
